Kelowna Rockets Trade Skates for Socket Wrenches at CSN Mark V

On May 5, 2026, the Kelowna Rockets visited CSN Mark V for a hands-on community event featuring a fun and friendly tire change challenge. In addition to Lift’s four other Kelowna locations, CSN Mark V are proud sponsors of the Kelowna Rockets and were only too pleased to host the team.

Several Rockets players admitted they had never changed a tire before, which quickly turned the activity into a mix of learning, teamwork, and plenty of laughter. Under guidance from CSN Mark V staff, the groups worked through the steps of safely removing and replacing a tire, discovering just how much coordination and effort the task can require when done for the first time. 

The event proved both entertaining and educational, with players gaining a new practical skill while enjoying a break from their usual on-ice routines. Thank you to the Kelowna Rockets for spending a few hours with the CSN Mark V team, everyone involved had a blast and walked away with a valuable lesson learned.
