CSN Hackett’s Collision Repair Centre in Belleville welcomes new ownership by Lift Auto Group
Belleville’s CSN Hackett’s Collision Repair Centre, a cornerstone of the local community for over five decades, begins a new chapter under the ownership of Lift Auto Group [Lift], while maintaining its longstanding connection with the CSN Collision network. This change symbolizes a fusion of the repair centre’s cherished legacy with new opportunities for growth.
Dave Hackett, the previous owner, reflects on the journey and the decision to transition.
“Our family has been deeply involved in this business for many years. My brother Dwayne and I purchased the shop, aiming to build on what our parents had installed with hard work and a clear vision for quality,” he says.
Hackett saw Lift’s values and focus on quality as aligning perfectly with his own, making them the ideal successors to his family business.
The proud new owners at Lift are committed to maintaining the high standards of service that CSN Hackett’s is known for.
Rob Kelman, who has been with CSN Hackett’s for 25 years, steps into the role of new Location Manager.
“Leading CSN Hackett’s into this next phase is a privilege. Lift’s support will enable us to further improve our offerings while retaining the trust we’ve built locally,” Kelman says.
The repair centre’s dedication to superior collision repair services continues under the new management. The experienced team, recognized for its expertise and customer focus, will keep providing a wide range of services, supported by the latest in technology and methods.
Kelman notes the transition has been smooth, thanks to the dedicated team.
“We’re enthusiastic about the enhancements Lift’s involvement brings, from better processes to advanced training. This is about building on our strengths,” he says.
“It’s rewarding to see the business progress with Lift. I’m stepping away, but the commitment to quality we’ve always held dear will persist. I have full confidence in Rob and the team,” Hackett says.
He also takes a moment to acknowledge the invaluable contributions of his family and staff.
“I couldn’t have done this without my brother, Dwayne, and my wife, Kimberley, who have been by my side since the beginning, and who were fundamental in contributing to our growth. And I must thank our staff, some of whom have been with us for 40 years, for their dedication, pride in their workmanship, and hard work,” Hackett says.
Lift Auto Group, a leading player in the collision repair industry, continues to expand its presence, now with 45 locations across Canada. With a commitment to quality and community, Lift is set to uphold and enhance the legacy of CSN Hackett’s Collision Repair Centre, ensuring it remains a trusted name in Belleville for years to come.
