Members of the CSN Lift team recently attended the 2026 Vancouver International Auto Show, joining nearly 140,000 attendees at one of North America’s premier automotive events.

Held at the Vancouver Convention Centre, the 102nd edition of the show welcomed a record-setting 139,991 visitors over five days, marking the third consecutive year of record attendance. Spanning nearly 300,000 square feet, the sold-out event featured more than 30 global automotive brands and showcased the latest innovations in electric vehicles, performance models, luxury vehicles, and emerging automotive technology.

“The scale of the event and level of engagement throughout the show was impressive,” said Tanner Taniguchi, vice-president, operational strategy, Lift Auto Group. “It was great to see manufacturers, educators, industry partners, and consumers all coming together to celebrate the innovation and momentum within the automotive industry.”

The show featured interactive exhibits, EV and PHEV test drive experiences, safety demonstrations, and appearances from a wide range of industry organizations and partners, including ICBC, BCIT, VCC, and local RCMP detachments. More than 3,000 attendees participated in the EV and PHEV Test Drive Experience, highlighting continued consumer interest in hands-on electric vehicle experiences.

Several high-profile vehicle debuts and displays drew significant crowds throughout the week, including concept vehicles from Chevrolet, Audi’s Formula 1 display car, and the newly unveiled 2026 Jeep Cherokee. The event also welcomed actor Sung Kang of the Fast & Furious franchise, adding to the excitement surrounding this year’s show.

The strong family presence, packed exhibition floor, and highly engaged social media activity throughout the event reflected the growing enthusiasm surrounding the automotive industry and its future.
