Engines, Entertainment, and Impact: A Standout Year for the CSN Collision Father’s Day Car Show

With a roar of engines and a spirit of community, the 2025 CSN Collision Father’s Day Car Show proved once again why it’s one of the Central Okanagan’s most anticipated summer events.

Held on Father’s Day, in Kelowna, BC, the event drew a record-breaking crowd of approximately 20,000 attendees and showcased 350 stunning vehicles, from classic collectibles to jaw-dropping customs.

More than just a celebration of cars, the show raised a remarkable $60,000 for the Child and Youth Advocacy Centre (CYAC) in Kelowna through the CYAC’s annual car raffle, helping young survivors of abuse and neglect access critical, compassionate support services.

With the grand prize vehicle, a GMC Acadia AT4 SUV, generously donated by Lift Auto Group, every dollar raised through the car raffle directly supports CYAC’s work.

This year’s lucky raffle winner was Alberto Bigsot of Kelowna, who bought his winning ticket at Orchard Park Mall. “I never imagined I’d win,” said Bigsot, who’s now planning a celebratory road trip to Vancouver Island with his family in their brand-new SUV.

“Child abuse isn’t easy to talk about,” said Ginny Becker, Executive Director of the CYAC. “That’s why initiatives like the car raffle matter so much. They give us an entry point into critical conversations, while raising funds that directly support children in crisis”.

Since opening in 2020, the CYAC has united police, healthcare, mental health, child protection, and victim services under one roof to provide holistic care to children and youth navigating the trauma of abuse. As a fully independent charity, it relies entirely on community and grant funding.

“Lift Auto Group is proud to support the CYAC’s crucial work,” said Mark Reineking, President & CEO of Lift Auto Group. “This event not only raises funds, but it raises awareness and helps ensure kids in need actually find their way to the support they deserve.”

Beyond the fundraising success, the CSN Collision Car Show was an unforgettable community celebration thanks to the generous support from Lift’s valued partners, a smorgasbord of food trucks serving everything from gourmet burgers to vegan delights and 25 artisan vendors showcasing handmade goods.

Live music from local bands Three Quarter Crush, CrushXO, The Silverbacks, and Instario kept the show humming.

Over at the Kids Zone Big White Ski Resort along with Loose Moose, face painting, jumping castles, and an appearance by Rocky Raccoon, the Kelowna Rockets’ beloved mascot provided endless entertainment for little engines that don’t stop.

An event of this scale couldn’t happen without the power of volunteers. Forty community members, including Lift employees and their families, stepped up to help, from setting up booths to guiding attendees.

Lift’s VP, Marketing, Joanna Hamilton says “The generosity, teamwork, and enthusiasm of our volunteers are what make this event truly special, their commitment embodies the community spirit that defines Lift Auto Group.”

To ensure the event continues to grow and improve, post-event surveys were shared with attendees, sponsors, vendors, food trucks, vehicle registrants, and volunteers.

As dust settles on another extraordinary show, one thing is clear: the 2025 CSN Collision Car Show wasn’t just about cars – it was about community, compassion, and making a difference.

Plans are already underway for 2026. And if this year is any indication, it’s bound to be even bigger, louder, and more meaningful.
