Lift Auto Group Acquires Leading Collision Repair Centre: CARSTAR Peterborough
The long-standing local shop, newly named CSN Peterborough, was acquired by Lift on July 4th, 2023 and has become a part of the CSN Collisions Network [CSN].
“We knew Lift was the right company and the shop would be in good hands,” previous owner Jim Shirtliff says. “We’re confident in their team. They’ll take the business to the next level.”
Shirtliff and his wife opted to sell their Peterborough collision centre to Lift after previously working with them on the sale of their Markham collision repair centre.
“They were great people to deal with,” he says. “The process was seamless, and we were so impressed with everyone there.”
The appointed location manager, Shireen Rynjah, has been at the Peterborough location for three years and previously worked with Shirtliff at the Markham location on everything from appraising, repair planning, and production.
“Shireen has been with me for 20 years. She has great people skills, and she’s a natural fit to oversee that location,” Shirtliff says.
CSN Peterborough will maintain the same great team to ensure the continuity of its high standards of customer service.
“We still have the same staff for business as usual, the same technicians that service the cars in the same great way they did when it was CARSTAR Peterborough,” Rynjah says. “If anything, there’s more support with Lift Auto Group in terms of technology and ease of doing business.”
