Young Star Ryder Impresses at Honda Indy Weekend 2025
The 2025 Honda Indy Weekend delivered no shortage of drama, adrenaline, and promising performances, where young driver Ryder Brown certainly made his mark. Sponsored by CSN Hackett’s, the rising talent held his own on one of the most unforgiving tracks on the circuit, navigating Toronto’s narrow street course with skill and determination.
With 31 cars on the grid, the pressure was on from the start. The tight corners and concrete-lined barriers claimed several competitors early; three or four cars were knocked out across the weekend, but Ryder kept a cool head. He clinched a 10th place finish on Saturday, then charged forward on Sunday with a standout performance that landed him in 8th place.
Beyond the racing, Ryder and the team spent time with fans from across the country, taking countless photos and handing out hero cards to young motorsport enthusiasts. A fan-favourite moment was when families were able to seat their children in the passenger seat of Ryder’s car.
Looking ahead, CSN Hackett’s continues to support Ryder as he sets his sights on Mosport, where he’ll take on double duty in the Miata race and GT5 class (tire availability permitting). With increased track time, the odds of seeing Ryder on his first-ever podium in a car are looking better than ever.
But first, he’s back on track next Thursday, July 30, for a test day just outside Belleville. Stay tuned — this is only the beginning for Ryder.
