The Child & Youth Advocacy Centre, Kelowna [CYAC], helps children and families impacted by child abuse and neglect. The work that they do within the community makes a critical difference in helping children to move beyond their experience of abuse to a brighter, more hopeful future.  

As a not-for-profit organization, the CYAC relies on business and community partners as well as fundraising efforts to ensure its livelihood.  

The CYAC Prize Car Raffle which coincides with the CSN Collision Father’s Day Car Show is an annual event that has become one of CYAC’s most important fundraisers. Each year, the CYAC receives a vehicle by donation, courtesy of CSN Lift Auto Group [Lift]. 

The prize car has traditionally been a modern muscle car of sorts, admired by automotive enthusiasts and classic car lovers, however, this year’s prize car, a Lexus IS300 has generated a lot of buzz with a new demographic.  

The Lexus IS300, a compact luxury sedan, has sparked interest within the broader community. The sporty vehicle has a contemporary look and functional features, making it an ideal everyday car for the average driver.  

Lift CEO, Mark Reineking says “We’re proud to support the CAC with the raffle again and hope that a more universally appealing vehicle will garner more interest and increase ticket sales. The raffle is such a great way to raise awareness and community support for the incredible work they do for vulnerable kids.”
